About Claudia

Claudia joined McKinsey’s Zurich office in 1995. Since then she has focused on working for pharmaceutical and medical device companies, and consumer goods companies in Europe, the US and, since January 2006, in Greater China. In 1998 she joined the New Jersey Office for a 15-month period. In addition to her leadership role in our Health Care and Pharmaceuticals and Consumer Goods Practices in China, Claudia leads McKinsey’s Asia Payor & Provider interest group, and is a core leadership member of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Practice in Asia.Claudia focuses on strategy, marketing and sales, launch preparation, and capability building, sales force effectiveness and organizational design.

Recent engagements

Recent engagements include developing an inside-out perspective on the Chinese healthcare system for a major government ministry in China; developing global growth strategies for key drugs and different therapeutic areas for pharma companies; and supporting the launch preparation for several pharmaceutical drugs.

Education

Claudia holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen/University of Michigan Ann Arbor focusing on strategy and organization, and an MBA from ESADE in Barcelona.
