About Sha
Sha leads McKinsey’s Automotive & Assembly Practice in Greater China. With 12 years of experience serving clients in China, Korea, Australia, Singapore and the U.S., Sha is focused on product development, corporate strategy and investment advisory. Her recent work at McKinsey includes shortening the development time while meeting cost and quality targets for a new vehicle project aimed at the Chinese market for a leading automotive OEM; designing a cross-functional approach to improve quality, reduce defects, and increase customer loyalty at a leading automotive OEM in China; and developing a 10-year product and market strategy for a leading automotive OEM in China.
Recent Engagements
Besides her consulting work, Sha has appeared frequently on CNBC and Oriental TV. In addition to co-leading Harvard’s Alumni Club in Shanghai, she was recently elected as a core member of the 10th Committee of Shanghai Youth Federation (from 2009 to 2013), and as the Founding Partner of the Hong Kong – Shanghai Youth Exchange Promotion Association.
Education
Sha graduated from Harvard Business School in 2001, and also holds a BA in International Economics from Beijing University.
